Kolla, derived from the Swedish word meaning look or check it out, reflects a simple belief: great creative work earns attention.

Founded in 2016, Kolla Creative Studio is the practice of Saskatoon-based creative consultant and designer David Melashenko. With more than two decades of industry experience, David has worked for clients in tourism, arts and culture, financial services, non-profits, and the public sector.

From developing brand identities and advertising campaigns to designing annual reports and other publications, David combines senior-level creative thinking, art direction, and design expertise. Kolla works with businesses and organizations directly, as well as alongside agencies and in-house marketing teams.

Outside of work, I'm usually making music, thrifting, exploring somewhere new, or getting out into nature. I have a lifelong interest in history, science, and the occasional unexplained mystery. I like learning new things, following curiosity , and finding inspiration in places you might not expect.
